This isn't your typical therapy

This work goes beyond words, beyond understanding your patterns, beyond analyzing what happened.

Because you can talk about your trauma, your anxiety, your stuck places for years – but if your body is still holding the pattern, nothing truly shifts.

Through somatic therapy, I help you access what talking alone can’t reach – the experiences and survival patterns stored in your body and nervous system.

We work with what you’re carrying, not just what you’re thinking about. And when it serves you, we weave in coaching to help you take real steps forward.

Together, you’ll become less reactive, more present and alive, and deeply connected to yourself.

Somatic Therapy

If you’ve been stuck in the same patterns for too long, feeling weighed down and disconnected from yourself, this work helps you find your way forward.

This is for you if:

  • You’re burned out, running on empty, and need to find sustainable energy again
  • Anxiety, worry, or physical tension won’t let up no matter what you try
  • You feel numb and like you’ve lost touch with what makes life meaningful
  • You’re navigating loss, separation, or a life transition and need grounded support
  • Your relationships drain you and you can’t seem to set boundaries that hold
  • You absorb everyone else’s emotions and struggle to know what’s actually yours
  • You have physical symptoms doctors can’t explain, or you’ve been told it’s all in your head

What becomes possible: You’ll move from stuck and disconnected to feeling more alive, lighter, and confident.

Somatic TRAUMA Therapy

If you carry the effects of trauma in your body – hypervigilance, C-PTSD, emotional overwhelm, disconnection – this work helps you access what talking alone couldn’t reach.

This is for you if:

  • You experienced childhood trauma, a scary event, or narcissistic abuse and your body still holds the effects
  • You’re always on alert, scanning for danger, unable to relax even when you’re safe
  • Part of you feels stuck in the past, reliving what happened a long time ago
  • Your emotional reactions feel too big and you don’t know how to regulate them
  • You feel disconnected from your body, numb, or like you’re watching life from the outside
  • Talk therapy helped you understand your trauma but didn’t shift what your body is holding

What becomes possible: You’ll process what your body is ready to feel through, so surviving becomes loving your life again, playful, spontaneous, and truly connected.

How I work differently

Unlike talk therapy, we’ll go into the body and nervous system, not just conversation.

We’ll follow sensations, impulses, the breath, and support what’s underneath shifting organically, instead of retelling the same stories.

At this level, change doesn’t just make sense. You feel it.

Your healing doesn’t pause between sessions, so neither will my support. You’ll have access to me through a private channel.

I’ve been where you are, so I know how much that matters.

Silvija is a wonderful practitioner. I truly appreciate the way we could combine different approaches: coaching, somatic work, and mindfulness. She generously shares tools and practices that help me stay connected to myself, reach new heights, and move confidently toward success. I'm deeply grateful for our work together and want to wholeheartedly recommend Silvija as a professional.

I've seen so many therapists and spent so much money on it in my life that I almost gave up on myself. As a survivor of childhood trauma things started shifting only when I started to work with Silvija. I'm so immensely grateful for having found her. I finally feel that things are shifting for the better for me. Thank you!

- Mathias , Switzerland
I've never experienced such warmth and compassion from another therapist. I'm learning so much about myself, and can feel by body is letting go of my past. Would highly recommend to anyone curious to try somatic approach.

- Tony , USA
I had a great experience working with Silvija. During our sessions, we've managed to explore and release some deep emotional baggage I couldn't access with other practices. I felt much calmer and more grounded after our sessions, and saw how it improved the way I feel on a daily basis. Silvija is very kind and accepting. I felt comfortable in her presence from the first session. I highly recommend her as a practitioner for anyone struggling with overwhelming emotions, anxiety and trauma!

- Iryna , Luxembourg
After many years in CBT therapy, I now finally feel that things are moving again. Silvija is so gentle in her approach. I have read a lot about somatic therapy before and was looking forward to try it. I'm so happy I did.

Silvija is an incredibly compassionate and skillful therapist. She is a great listener who knows exactly what questions to ask to nudge you onto the right path towards your personal or professional goals. Her gentle, yet concrete and no-nonsense approach will open your eyes to exploring possibilities you simply couldn’t see on your own.

- Maya, Luxembourg
I've never experienced this approach before, and I'm so glad I found Silvija. In only a couple of sessions I saw great improvement in my anxiety level, and the calmness I can now feel when I do the exercises I learned in the sessions, is beyond my expectations.

- Jana, Luxembourg
I finally found someone who really gets me. Thank you.

- Lea, Luxembourg
Silvija is exceptional! Her radiant personality is contagious 🙂 I found her knowledgeable. She uses a diverse range of therapeutic tools, including coaching and body-centred therapies. I left her practice feeling not only satisfied but also equipped with valuable tools that I am already applying to enhance my well-being. I am looking forward to the continuation of our work.

- Elena, Luxembourg
I am always amazed over the way she manages to hear my underlying issues in the stories I babble:). And then how she challenges me to go into myself, get in touch with my feelings, not my mind. Simply amazing.

- Natasa, Slovenia
I work with Silvija on-line. Her energy is always calming/soothing. I tend to rumble a lot she knows how to bring me to focus on the one thing we can do today or even let me go on and on if I need. I can easily connect with her. She makes me feel safe and seen. I would totally recommend her.

The body remembers, the bones remember, the joints remember, even the little finger remembers. Memory is lodged in pictures and feelings in the cells themselves.

What is somatic therapy?

Somatic therapy works with your body, not just your mind – because lasting change happens where your experiences are actually stored.

You might have spent years trying to think your way through – understanding why you feel anxious, why boundaries feel impossible, why the same patterns keep repeating. But understanding alone doesn’t shift anything.

That’s because these patterns live in your body, not just your thoughts. Your nervous system has learned certain responses over time, and it keeps playing them on repeat.

Somatic work helps you access and process what’s been held below conscious awareness. It’s where real, lasting change happens – the kind you can actually feel in your body, not just understand in your head.

Questions You Might Have

How is somatic therapy different from talk therapy?

Traditional talk therapy works primarily with your thoughts and emotions through conversation. Somatic therapy includes talking, but we also work directly with what’s happening in your body – sensations, tensions, breath patterns, and the physical responses that arise.

You are ready for somatic therapy if:

    • You’ve tried talk therapy but still feel stuck
    • You understand why you feel or react a certain way, but can’t seem to change the pattern
    • You experience anxiety, chronic tension, or feel disconnected from your body
    • You sense there’s something deeper that words alone can’t reach

I work with clients in packages of 10 sessions, spread over at least four months. This container gives you something most therapy doesn’t: a clear arc, continuity, and the space for shifts to land in your nervous system and your life.

Between sessions, you have access to me for additional support, so you never feel like you’re navigating what comes up alone. That matters to me. I want you to stay on track and feel held through the whole process, not just during our hours together.

Most clients notice real change within the first few sessions, because the body responds fast when it finally feels met in the right way.

Yes, absolutely. You’re always in your body, wherever you are.

Online sessions allow you to do this work in the comfort and safety of your own space, which can actually deepen the process. I’ll guide you to notice sensations, movements, and patterns just as I would in person.

Many clients find online work just as powerful and sometimes more accessible than in-person sessions.

Touch may be used with your explicit consent, but it’s not necessary for successful therapy.

In certain moments, brief therapeutic contact can offer powerful support, but we can absolutely work with your bodily experience without touch. Physical contact only happens when you understand why and how it would be used, and when you’ve given clear consent.

My work is rooted in the Hakomi Method, integrated with Somatic Experiencing®, Polyvagal Theory, and attachment-based approaches. When helpful, I weave in coaching to help you gain clarity and take practical steps forward. I can also guide you in building a personal mindfulness practice to support your healing.

Sessions are 60 minutes, typically weekly or bi-weekly for continuity.

Between sessions, I will invite you to explore gentle practices, journal, or bring attention to specific patterns we will then explore together. Most clients spend an additional 30-60 minutes per week on these practices, allowing the work to continue unfolding in daily life. You can adjust this based on what feels sustainable for you.

We start by checking in. You tell me how you’re doing in this moment, or what’s going on in your life. Then we get curious together about whatever you’re bringing into the session. Talking is part of it, but I’m curious especially about what your body is doing as you speak.

When something surfaces, we stay with it instead of moving past it. The sensation, the breath, the catch in your voice. That’s where the real work happens.

I keep track of the bigger picture and guide you toward places you might not find alone. But your body sets the pace. It knows what it needs.

The work has depth, but it won’t feel heavy all the time. Sometimes we’ll laugh. Sometimes the most important moment is noticing the tightness in your chest finally let go.

If you like, we finish by finding together what would most support you until our next session. Maybe a small practice, something to keep noticing, or a pattern worth watching for.

Many clients leave feeling lighter, like they got a piece of themselves back.
